According to a post shared by Olayinka on his verified social media account, he questioned the management of the NGO’s finances, suggesting that one individual received donations, spent the funds, audited the accounts and assessed the financial records without independent oversight. He also mocked reports that only a negligible balance remained after the expenditure.
In the post, Olayinka wrote: “One man get NGO. One man collected millions of Naira as donation. One man spend money remain cent. One man audit account. One man give himself pass mark. One man still dey wait for more donations. Even if na N500 from rats wey dey tell, him go collect am. China business needs more money.” The remarks came amid ongoing discussions on social media over the financial management of donations reportedly received by VeryDarkMan’s NGO.
