Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has revealed why he left university despite paying more than N2 million in fees to attend the institution.
IKEJA, LAGOS — Peller has opened up about his decision to leave university after paying more than N2 million to attend the school. According to comments shared on social media, the content creator said the institution failed to keep its promise of allowing him to stream while studying.
Peller said he had plans to combine his education with his fast-growing streaming career. He explained that the university assured him that he would be allowed to stream from the lecture hall and continue creating content while attending classes. According to him, the arrangement later changed after he enrolled.
The streamer said he paid over N2 million to the institution, an amount he claimed was higher than what many students at the school paid. “The school I paid over ₦2 million to, the university I wanted to attend, whined me. They deceived me by telling me I would be streaming inside the lecture class, but they didn’t allow me to stream,” he said.
Peller also stated that the experience did not change his opinion about education. He noted that his partner is a graduate and said he hopes his future children will also earn university degrees. The social media personality added that he still has the opportunity to return to school in the future if he chooses to do so.
