IKEJA, LAGOS — The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has warned employers against failing to provide accommodation and transportation for corps members posted to their organisations, saying those that ignore the welfare requirements risk being blacklisted. According to a statement by the scheme, the Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, gave the warning while stressing the need for employers to create a safe and supportive working environment for serving graduates.

The NYSC said employers have a responsibility to comply with the conditions guiding the deployment and welfare of corps members.
