According to the report, security researchers observed attempts by members or supporters of the insurgent group to exploit publicly available AI tools despite safeguards designed to prevent harmful use. The report argues that such efforts demonstrate the need for continuous improvements in AI safety measures and closer cooperation between technology companies and security agencies.
