According to the viral clip, Ibrahim said he would vote for Peter Obi in 2027, arguing that Nigerians should support what he described as “the right person” instead of allowing religious or ethnic considerations to influence their choices. He also claimed that many Fulani families continue to face security challenges, including the loss of lives, cattle rustling and abductions.
“We voted for religion, it didn’t work. We voted for tribalism, it didn’t work. We have to vote for the right person,” he said in the video shared across several social media platforms.
He further alleged that the concerns of Fulani communities often receive little public attention, saying many people do not listen to their side of the story despite the security challenges they face.
