ABUJA, FCT — First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has assured the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nigeria that President Bola Tinubu remains committed to tackling insecurity, terrorism and kidnapping across the country. She gave the assurance during a meeting with the Qatari envoy in Abuja, according to a statement from the Office of the First Lady.
The First Lady said the Tinubu administration continues to implement measures aimed at improving national security and protecting lives and property. According to the statement, she noted that the Federal Government has prioritised efforts to address security concerns while creating an environment that supports economic growth and investment.
Speaking during the meeting, Oluremi Tinubu said the President has continued to strengthen the nation’s security architecture through coordinated actions by relevant agencies. She also expressed appreciation for the relationship between Nigeria and Qatar, adding that both countries can expand cooperation in areas such as trade, education, health and investment. The statement added that the Qatari envoy reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Nigeria.
